Ignition Switch or what?
73 F-100, put new starter and solenoid on fender + new battery, whenever I turn the switch however, nothing happens. No click but dash lights come on. It will start right up by shorting across the solenoid, and will die whenever I turn the key off. Could it be the ignition switch itself or possibly a neutral control switch?

2 different systems It just means that power is gettingto the fuse box
It will start right up by shorting across the solenoid, and will die whenever I turn the key off. Could it be the ignition switch itself or possibly a neutral control switch?

Wiggling the shifter helps as well.
