i can tget this to load in my gallery, but still wanted to share it, dad bought this brand new in '96, it has 65,000 oringinal miles, most towing a 26' travel trailer, it has the 351, E4OD,3.55s and a few bolt-ons. he's got it up for sale, i dont know how much but its gat a value somewhere around 6 grand. he paid 30g for it. id love to put my ranger in the yard and this in my driveway instaed but the fuel milage is horrible, my ranger gets 17, this beauty gets 12-14 (8 when towing) its parked outside when not being driving and it sets alot, everytime its needed seems like something needs worked on, i went to change out the rear diff cover and wheil using the ramps, blew a brake line on the rear axle and one going to the l.f. tire, i was replacing the brake lines in this pic, thats why the hood is popped. i think its geared too high, only turns about 1,600 rpm in o/d at 55, seems it should be about 2,500 to be in the powerband of the motor. one weird thing is that dad also has a '94 3/4 ton HD with the same powertrain & gearing, he says the truck has more torque, and the truck has about 130,000 on it. enogh babling on, here a pic of the '96 "go big green" bronco,
any intrest in selling the bug shield? and/or the brush guard? i have been searching everywhere for one of those bug shields. i even have a molded one if you'd like to trade. im not asking you to part the thing out. That's one SWEET bronco!, but im tryin to go for the big truck look, and that would just set it off perfectly.
not parting out, i dont remember where i got the "old school" flat blade bug sheild. the brand name of that grille guard is luverne, they might have a website. it was new in '96 also, dont know if the company still exists. im not even sure where it was purchached from. it has been used to push with and held up doing it. those "traier special" mirrors were added, originally had the power-adjust ones like F150's of that era.
