first post; having a problem

Hello,

I've registered here more than a year ago but never posted a message. Now I have some problems with my F150 and hope to get some support here.

It began with loosing some power at WOT with no error reported. After restarting the engine it ran good for a while. Now I'm getting P0330 (knock sensor) when accelerating. But I cannot find any information about knock sensors in 2004 and above f150. Any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Anze

Welcome

I'm having the same problem with my 04 F150 S'crew right now. Started right after I took it to the dealer for oil and air filter change. Light came on under acceleration, took it back to dealer and they reset code (p0330) said it'd be fine. 2 Days later same thing. I've tried cleaning the MAF, checking all vac hoses, Proper oil level and reset computer by pulling battery cable for 30 minutes so computer could re-learn idle & trim and stuff. No help. I'm going back to the dealer today to have them check & reset it again and find out what else they monkeyed with while it was there. I'll let you know what I find.

Hi again,

I changed the two knock sensors today and the error is gone. It toked me 3 hours and was a hard work, because my 150 is equipped with an additional liquid petroleum gas supply and this takes a lot of room inside the engine compartment. So it was difficult to lift the intake to replace the sensors. But finally it worked and I'm quite happy now!
The only thing left is a small hole during acceleration at appr. 2000 revs. It seems the engine is running lean. But there is no error code stored.
It runs now more the 125 mph again!

regards
Anze
