Lowering Kit?

Hey i'm just curious, has any one ever heard of some one lowering an aerostar? obviously not slamed to the ground, but like 2-3"? I've been contimplating this idea a tad bit, because within the next 6-8 months i'd like to replace my rusty suspension for something a tad more beefy, but at the same time i also kinda want to lower it a little... just wanna hear peoples thoughts.

-Ryan

p.s. If i did this i don't like the thought of cutting springs.... works for honda's, but maybe not so much for suv's?

Ok, first things first, lowering an Aerostar will make the ride quality absolutely terrible as anyone who has worn springs will tell you. The suspension will bottom out very quickly and you will find yourself having to go over gutter and speed bumps extermely slowly. And heaven forbid you should hit a pothole. It would probably knock the alignment out every time. Also if you lower it, you will never get the front camber adjustment correct, the adjustments can only compensate for so much.
