My Ranger
increace until you feel the performance drop. More complete combustion= more
power!! Just use stock plugs no fancy weird electrode plugs. Indexing plugs will
add some power if it is worth the trouble to you, Go to three different parts stores
and buy three of the same brand and part number spark plugs. The idea is to get
plugs made at different times and with different dies and what not. Put a mark on
the porcelin in relation to the ground electrode, put them in and note where the
mark is pointing, You want the open end pointing towards the center of the combustion chamber, IF the mark is pointing at the center of the chamber try
another plug until you get at least as close as possible. The idea being if the spark
is firing toward the cylinder wall it isn't having optimale exposure to the mixture. It
may only be good for one or two hp (probably more) but it all adds up in the long
run!! More complete combustion=more power. of course getting a 50 shot of
nitrous would be the quickest way to get some real ponies in there!!
