What to use for tie downs?

I purchased an 08 F250 Crew cab long bed PSD and have installed a rollback tonneau cover as I want to be able haul things that a cap would not allow. Now I need to install tie downs in the bed rails. Should I go with the hide away type of hooks for the the bed rails or get stainless or chrome tubular rails that fit in the bed rails? Which is better for tying down stuff from refridgerators to ATV's?
Thaks in advance for your opinions.

Weather you choose stainless, chrome or black, in rails, or hide a way hooks. The real key is how they are mounted and what they are made of. Heavy steel rails, no matter the finish will hold more than light rails assuming they have the proper mounting points. Good quality hide a way hooks will hold more than cheap chrome "decorative" rails.

I went with 2-1/2 inch diameter rails with tie down holes near the end mounts. They are chrome and when I mounted them they are stronger than I anticipated. Look great and functional.
