Thanks for the info. Do you have any experience with them. I live 6 hours North and would like to work with a reputable business since I'm so far away. Thanks again

Not personally. I know they do a heck of a lot of business, so I suspect they're either really good or really cheap.

I live just a few miles away in Calvert City, I used Better Built Garages, 5 years and not even a hint of a crack in the floor, and that is with almost 3 feet of back fill on one side.

They were so busy that it took 3 months for them to get started.

Thanks David. I'm hoping to make some calls to try to arrange some estimates. Thanks again!

No problem, just remember, make them give you a time frame, then if it is not met, call them and threaten to go else where for service.
Also bring up my referral, and say that I really bragged on the strong floor, that way they know what you expect. I am not a hard customer, I just expect what I pay for, and don't think I didn't let them know that.

Good luck.

David, Good advice Thanks again. Looks like I'll need to wait until next week to get down there - other priorities got in the way. But, at least I have a couple of leads to follow

Thanks for the pointers everyone. I tried Better Built, but couldn't synch up with the guy to get an estimate. West Kentucky Builders is who I went with. We were able to start the preliminary estimate over the phone. Settled on a price after the guy visited the site. Now I have a new garage 24'x36' 2"x6"x10' walls. Am very happy with the job that they did. Again, I appreciate everyone's help here

Good to hear you got it built.
If you live in Kuttawa, I invite you to come and watch me race this Saturday night at Eddyville, 7:00 race time off HWY 93 at the fair ground (ball fields) if you make it look for a Grey primer 1977 F-150 that has Miss Take on the doors.

David, thanks for the invite. Unfortunately I'm 6 hours away in IL. The Kuttawa property is my camping/fishing (for now) retirement (for later) property. I'm very impressed with how nice evryone has been.

Maybe some other time, they have races every two weeks on average until October.
