Supercab Side Windows Leaking
Need advice:
1992 model year.
How do you get them out?
Are they set in a sealant or just rubber gasketing?
Do I need to remove interior plastic trim?
Any special tools required?
I need to get the leak fixed before rust begins.

Take interior plastic off. You may get them out with out removeal but way risk it. . They have a bead of sealant around them have to use thin putty knife and cut seal as much as possible while pushing slightly out on glass.
There are 4 pins (Think)to help center /alien the glass on reinstall. I used a good silicone but you can get regular window seal at Napa /auto parts

Thank you. Since weekends are the only time I have to work on the truck it may take all winter. Remove plastic trim; To make that easy, remove rear seat. Since trim is removed, see if I can rewind the seat belt retractor spring. Since seat is removed, go ahead and shampoo the carpet. Where will it end? Thanks again for your insight.
