Any else of you diesel guys notice a change in the diesel at all? I think they must be putting the winter diesel in at the pumps now.
The price of diesel around here has been 99.9 at most stations. I have been filling at the shell in Moose Jaw because the price their is 87.9. Or if I am in Regina I have been filling at the bio diesel station and their price is 99.9.
I would think that Stoon has Bio diesel somewhere I just don't think I can run it so I stick to Shell, Flying J stuff like that. Otherwise I would like to run it. Help resources a bit.
I like the flying J fuel too. I dont get what the hype is with bio diesel then. If there is no increase in power, or mileage, and its not cheaper, then whats the point.
you get that "warm, fuzzy, do gooder" feeling as you fill up, knowing that the smoke from this one will be environmentally friendly... i figure why buy it if you can make it??
The bio is better for older diesels especially now with the ULSD. The bio has better lubrication properties and is easier on injectors and it cleans out all the crap in the system that the diesel leaves behind.
