rotor thickness

I can't find the min thickness on my '97 f-150 front rotors and the haynes manual says to look there, anyone have the spec? Also can I replace the braided line from the master cylinder with a regular 3'16 brake line with a loop in it? thanks

If you want to know the minimum get to a library that has AllData online and you will be able to check it out there, if your rotors are NOT warped and have grooves in them less than .060 you are good dont worry about it. If you choose to turn them and you do hard braking from towing alot dont bother, just get new ones. As for the braided line You could but I would just leave it, but thats just me.
