Manual GP switch

The glow plug driver in my truck is fried and need to put in a manual push button. What wire do I need to use for this?

There is no GP driver. It's controlled by the PCM...it completes a ground circuit. It's the small wire on the GPR, Purple w/orange stripe.
The small red w/light green wire is B+ with the key set to start or run.

Remove the small purple wire. Attach it to one side of the button. Attach the other side of the button to a ground.

This will only work if your GPR is good.
