08' rear diff cover......oring???

On the 08' rear aluminum differential cover, there is a groove on the inside face that squigles around the holes. Is there an o-ring that goes in their?

I'm going to put it on my 01' and was wandering if I just squirt seal some RTV on it, or use a o-ring?

Thanks

Ryan

Ryan - I just used some rtv and let it set about 15 minutes to skim over and was good to go. Dont know if they make a gasket . That 08 cover is pretty nice for the bucks ey?

I think the groove is there to prevent the RTV from becoming smashed and too thin a layer to contain the gear oil. I filled it with RTV as has been said, let it set up a bit and bolted it up with the supplied bolts from Diesel Manor. I am sure if a gasket came with it we would have received it.

Alright, sounds good. I'll give it a try.
