Just to let everone know, I purchased what was advertised as a power brake master, booster and bracket from a Bills Rod and Custom Shop several months ago. I have not recieved it and there is no more contact with Bill. Another $250 down the drain. Be aware.

Be sure and file with Paypal for reimbursement. I have had 2 incidents similar to yours and Paypal has come thru for me with refunds. Takes about 30 days but they are pretty good at keeping you appraised of where the claim is at. Good luck. Some EBAY tips for anyone reading this, I have a 158 100% feedback and have been an EBAY user for 5 years:
1. Always use Paypal, easiest to get refund if shipper doesn't ship or not as advertised.
2. Always check Seller's feedback, if you are buying something expensive and the seller has only sold cheap items with a low feedback beware. Lots of scammers will sell a bunch of cheap stuff to get their feedback up then move in for the kill with a few multi hundred dollar items.
3. Always request a shipment confirmation with tracking number if available. If a week goes by and you don't receive an email or your purchase, follow up with another email requesting shipment status.
4. Similar to #3, verify the seller has sold before and the feedback was not just from other sellers. Anyone can buy and pay being a seller is a different level of responsibility.
5. If 2 weeks go by and you have not received your item or no communication from the seller immediately start filing with Paypal. They will contact the seller for you.
6. LEAVE FEEDBACK, good or bad
I am always suspicious of sellers on Ebay that will not accept Paypal so I try to stay away from them. I also have a 100% positive feedback rating on Ebay with 207 feedback scores over 6+ years.
I'm a avid E-Bay user with over 1000 feedbacks (same user name as on this forum, racerpete84) and a feedback rating of 99.8%. I prefer to use Pay-Pal both as a buyer and a seller because of the protection they provide. I did get 1 counterfit Money Order a couple of years ago, and the investigation lead to a dead end, luckily it was for less than $50.00, so I wasn't out too much. And my bank refunded the extra charges(they treated it like a bounced check). If I get a money order from someplace I've never heard of I'll send it back to the buyer and request a Post Office Money order instead. E-Bay is full of Wheelers, Dealers, And STEALERS !
I am both a seller and buyer on Ebay and have well over a 600 Positive Feedback.
I earned every bit of it on both avenues as Buyer & Seller. Not all are bad actors, and the mail system is not what it used to be. I provide my customers with a Tracking Number where possible.
Also I just signed up with Pay Pal, because of the more demand for it.
I do however have a beef with Ebay and have voiced my opinion to them in text form.
This is regarding the rules that they made and I agreed to when I signed up in 1998.
There are sellers on there with major Negatives and they still allow them to sell.
I just wanted to vent my feelings on this subject and some of the blame should be laid on Ebay itself, as well as the Vendor, enough said.

Postal Money Orders aren't always safe, either - there have been some stolen, and some counterfeit. You have to be extremely careful, no matter what you do, anymore...
