I searched for the last two days and cant find an answer to my question. I am hoping someone can help me out.
I have an 04 F250 Kingranch with the stock 18x8 Wheels. I am looking at getting 33x13.5 ProComp Xterrains. The ProComp site says that they can be run on an 8" rim so that shouldn't be a problem. My question is, will they fit the truck without rubbing?
I am trying to get the biggest tire possible on the stock rims until i do the lift and 38's. Coming back from Iraq and transferring duty stations at the same tiem has put my lift plans on hold until spring. Thanks for any input.
That tire size doesn't "require" a nine inch wheel but yes, it will rub the leaf springs. You probably need to stick with a 12.50 and they still may rub a tad bit when you turn as sharp as you can. Depends on the offset of the wheel. 35 x12.50 or 315/75 or easier and cheaper to buy anyway.
I was under the impression that 35s and 315s would not fit without atleast a leveling kit. Am i mistaken?

I am running 35's on my stock '04. I could not guarantee that it would fit on your truck, nor would I recommend it for everyone. It is a very tight fit.
I've had 35 or 315's on my 01',03',06',08' SDs without any problems. I average about 50k miles a year which equals to about 2 sets of tires per year but other than that, no problems with no lift or special wheels other than factory.
