did they say YOUR use caused the failure?? do you know what the PO did?
Sam
The previous owners, whom I'm still friends with today, were worse than I was when caring for this truck. They wouldn't even take it out in the rain. So, yes, they're saying my use caused the failure. But there are 5 breaks, 3 in one tire and 2 in the other and they're saying that I gave it an "IMPACT BREAK". In other words I ran straight into a curb or something of that nature on each of the breaks, which is impossible based on how I've driven and treated this truck. They did offer to give me a sweet deal on new ones. I'll check with that after a few more arguments.
By the looks of the tires in the above pics, any reputable tire shop would toss them in the dumpster. I apollogise for this straight forward comment: but Safety Must Come First and those surely don't appear to be.........mervy49
I agree with you 100%. I was so nervous while these were on my truck! I've learned a lot since going through this experience. Someone called me yesterday and is buying my two good ones and taking the bad ones as well. He may use inner-tubes in the bad ones or run them till they pop on a mudding/climbing rig.
