Smoke!! Fire!! Aw Crap!
What the heck happened!? My '86 F150 starts smoking from the area of the combo header and so I thought it was oil dripping from the valve cover, either from a loose PCV fitting or a shot gasket. I replaced the gasket, and wrapped tape around the PCV to snug it up, avoiding covering the holes and the problem persists. It is so bad, that I believe I saw a flame or two on the header after shutting off the engine and opening the hood. It looks like oil is coming out from around a stud that the header is fastened to. Anyone know what is going on?

What engine? List all mods and who did them. Got a digital camera? How has it been running? How much oil does it lose between changes? Does it only smoke under certain conditions, or any time it's running?
