I am assuming the 460 has a rear sump pan? Make sure it does. I have also heard there are oil filter clearance problems sometimes when a 460 is swapped into one of these trucks. That can be cured several ways I believe. They make a shorter filter with the same threads and gasket that clears, but I don't know the number. I think they also made a oil filter adapter that bolts to the block, that put the filter at a different angle(this engine may already have one). And if all else fails, you could get a remote filter kit.
The only major thing you will have to do is take the six out, and drill out the rivets on the motor mount frame perches and take them off, and go to the junkyard and drill out and take a set of v8 perches and bolt them into your truck. Any v8 frame perch will work.
