ok well it hit me 2nite, i wanna another 92-96 truck, perferably a ext. cab so i can make it a street rod, and i want another 300. so i was thinkin if i would get a 300 outta carb'd truck, give the engine a good once over then add a cam, that offy intake, 390carb, efi manifolds or headers, ported/polished head with all the goodies, MSD igintion. would the carb'd motor be ok in that year truck? i would start with a inline motor'd truck to begin with so i have the motor mounts n all, but maybe bolt on a t-5 or auto. my other question is, how much power could i make with that engine combo. im estimating 250hp, 380lb ft.

didnt think so. but ya, strip all the computer crap, no emmisions and it'll be super easy to work in with the carb'd motor. plus when ya pop the hood and see that the wow factor will be there.
