I'll be sure to check them out. I'm not really brand loyal when it comes to tires. I just want a quality tire with a somewhat aggressive tread.

Check out James Tire in Mission, I have bought tires from him for....well, I've only bought tires from him, since I started driving actually, wow. He has LOTS of selection. I went there last in June to get tires for my car. I've never had a problem from him or the tires and I only ever buy used but my Mom got her new tires there and he pointed out that one of her aluminum rims edges was bent and he fixed it no extra charge. He's really friendly, he has used tires & rims for cash as well as brand new tires with receipts, I think he has Debit now, I always take cash anyways. He's semi retired, he's only open Friday's and Saturdays, I think 8:30AM to 4PM (could be 8 to 4:30?). So you get to Mission and head out of town to Hatzic lake or Deroche on the ol' two-lane highway but it's not that far, it's like 5 minutes outside of downtown, James Tire will be on the left of you with an old sign saying James Tire and it is an uphill driveway that is a big circle so you go in the driveway off the highway and go to the right and follow the driveway as it curves left, it makes more sense when you are there and it's a really nice place to go, good old fashioned service, you can see what they do and they answer your questions. He's been in tires forever, it seems, it's one of those places you go that seems like it has been there forever and always will be, tucked around the corner out of sight from the world. You almost have to look sideways to see it Now my inner poet is taking over lol

That sounds like a great place. I would consider a decent set of used tires as well. I enjoy dealing with these type of people. They just seem to care a little more.

Depending on which way you drive, it is not on the river side

I got a quote from a shop in Kelowna today. It was for about $2200.00 - $2500.00. He told me there is not much of a difference in price between 16" and 18".

There is a huge difference in price from what I know. What size did you get a quote for?

16" was around $2200.00 depending on wheels. 18" was around the same depending on wheels probably around $2500.00. That was for a 315/75/16 or 315/75/18. He had some great lookin 35's as well.
