Trans Cooler fan
Recently my electric fan seems to be running a lot more than usual. I have a 04 f350 crew cab with 47000 miles. It only does it when I'm pulling a trailer but it does it a lot more than it use to. The trans temp guage isnt climbing. Any Ideas?

Bad EOT sensor, plugged EOC, low on coolant. The factory water temp gauge will not move until the engine is extremely hot. It is fairly common for the EOC to become plugged which will cause high EOT and potential EGR cooler failure. Also it is fairly common to have the EOT sensor fail. Take your truck in and have a qualified 6.0 tech troubleshoot and fix it.
