I want a HP/TQ graph on a stock perferible carbed 300 I6. The Fuel injected will work. I want it kinda for braggen rights-low end torque but for personal reference it would be nice to.
Thanks
Dustin
I think the numbers for carbed and injected are very close. And i have had close performance on both (old truck was 300 I6 carbed). Anyway here are the numbers. HP is 150 at 3400 RPM's. Torque is 265 at 2000 RPM's. 270 if you have automatic tranny. Hope this helps ya.
For an 83 carby 300, it's 113 HP @ 3600, 245 ft/lb at 2000, it just runs stronger because it's not running as lean as the EF 300's....
Still, it's pretty sad... Then again, the carb is only 55 CFM @1.5" HG(where a 4bbl is measured)....

These were given me by someone a couple years ago on this site.
RPM/torque (ft lb)/hp
1000/ 225/ 43
1900/ 255/ 92
2500/ 260/ 124
It appears these are for EFI and you can add the Chilton manual EFI figures (2.73 and 3.08 axle) for the following:
2000/ 265/ 101
3400/ 224/ 145
With other axels its 260 ft lb at 2000 and 150 hp at 3400.
hp = torque * RPM / 5252

Ooooh! Brown 4X4, could you read off some of the torque figures at various intervals across the RPM range (like every 500 rpm) and post them here for us? I know they would be approximate, but it would be fun to look them over.
