The AODE made in livonia will bolt up to the back of the engine, but you'll have to wing it on the driveshaft length, trans mount, and electrical hookup. I would look in the salvage yard for a truck with one and take the trans, driveshaft, transmount, wiring parts, and any other pretinant parts that you don't have. You probly need the PCM also because it will be programmed for the AODE trans. Best guess.

Why not just replace it with another e4od?

Welcome to FTE

I'm guessing you have already checked fluid and even changed it along with the filter?
Might well be worth doing unless you have someone very knowledgeable telling you your trans is toast. Even then I would check into a rebuild rather than replacement.

Best and easiest swap will be a direct replacement. Same year, model "etc".

Good Luck
Bob
