55 frame height
How big is the frame rail C on the 53-56 F100? My son is cutting some templates for boxingplate and just needs to know.. of course both trucks aren't here where I can measure myself..

My old 55 frame rails are 6" tall with 2 1/4" legs (outside measurement) under the cab and front portion of the bed. The frame rails begin to shrink in height as they begin the arc over the front and rear axles.
I'm sure someone who has boxed their frame will be along shortly to offer more details.
