Newbie needs help!
I need to change my ign. cyn. Ihave a 90 F250, but the column has been changed. Not sure what year. Iheard you have to turn the key and push out a pin. Dont see a pin. This is a tilt column, if means anything. Right now i have to play with the key to get the guages/radio on. Then i can start it by jumping the solinoid on the fender skirt. But i cant get it out of park!Would appreciate any help. Thanks Jerry

Got it out but cant figure how to put replacement in. It looks alittle different. The old one is stamped 2H 90. The replacement is stamped 28A77. Anyone Know the dif? Also can i put i screw driver in the slot to start it? Really need to move the truck Thanks guy, and thanks for the welcome

Got the new one in, same problem. Put the orig back in, muttered some choice words to my Truck's lineage,as i rocked the shifter. Finally it let loose. Jumped the solinoind and was able to move her. Could it be possible that the solinoid went bad at the same time the ignition got squirlly? Nah,Its dark now, will check it out more tomorrow. Thanks again guys
