Getting to laydown some primer?
I just finished sandblasting my cab of my 77 F150 and I am going to spray it with epoxy primer to protect the metal. Besides cleaning the metal with wax and grease remover do I need to sand the metal to promote adhesion or is the freshly sandblasted surface ready for primer?

NO, Once cleaned Spray 2 coats of epoxy primmer. Freshly sandblasted material starts rusting instantly. With epoxy paint, you must adhere to the recoat window to have good adhesion. After 2 coat of epoxy, spray a 2K primer over that. You do not want to sand into the epoxy. With a 2K a different color you will know where your at when you start doing the block sanding.
