what harness do i need??

i have a 1988 f150 351efi c6. the wiring harness in the motor was shot. it was all cut up and crimped together in certain places. i had a 1988 f250 351efi c6 and i pulled the harness out of it to put in mine....but i notice it does not have as many plugs. both trucks were xlt lariats and had a.c. and all that good stuff. i notice the f250 harness does not have a clip to go into the coil, there are two sensors in the passenger side intake there arent clips for. i TRIED hooking mine up with all the plugs that were accesable. and tried turning it over and does not start, im guessing because the coil is not recieving spark. the harness out of my f250 was uncut and in perfect condition...are there any differences in the f150 and f250 harness/motor? what truck do i need to get a harness out of then??

The f250 certainly had a coil didn't it? How did it hook up?

i dont remember how it was i pulled the motor out 2 years ago and sold the truck and all with it, i just happened to have to harness on the shelf. i went to the junkyard today, and found out some stuff. i dont believe the motor is the original. the guy there seemed to think it is from a 86 from a car. the front of the motor is not serpentine, its got 3 v-belts. the coil on mine is mounted next to the distributer. the air pump is on the top left of the motor normally where the altinator was on all the trucks there. we looked at a 88 bronco 351efi sitting there its whole intake set up is different. the fuel pressure regulator is almost at the firewall, the coil is in the middle of the intake, and there was only 1 sensor next to the fuel injector as to where mine is the pressure regulator is in the middle of the intake, i have two sensors inbetween the injectors, and my coil in mounted above the water pump next to the dist. so i think thats why the harness was all crimped together. bla what a bad day.
