well, i finally went and got the truck plated last friday. its on its way down to the electrical shop tomorow, then off to be inspected. so far, it's been pretty hairy. just to update, i started off with a 1975 f250 that was pretty stock. owned by a fire dept as their brush truck with low mileage, but pretty well beat. since purchase, i've replaced the entire body with nice southern sheetmetal, put 36x14.50 tsl radials on it, shot the body in flat black epoxy primer, put roll on bedliner on the firewall and cab floor inside and out and the bed floor top and bottom. i've got a 390 sitting waiting to be built to go in. its got dana 60s front and rear with 4.10 gears, thinking of going to like 4.56s or lower. i'll throw some pics up in the next few days. it has a resemblance to pros truck but alot smaller.
i'd love to go that big, but my mechanic is already questioning the legality of the frame height and its not much over stock. i'll have pics posted sometime this weekend.
