86 F150 300 carbed setup w/ ignition module on dist. Running fine one minute, dead the next. Truck turns over continuously - has fire at the plug and fuel to carb. Working on seemingly knowledgeableadvice and inspections, I've changed the module and pick-up (old module tested bad), carb (flooding intake)- new carb had new elec. parts on it; sensors, I'm assuming-, plugs and wires, dist. and rotor, and oil and filter due to intake flooding. Still nothing. Timing appears to be correct. Just won't start. Any ideas are appreciated.
Swap the coil, try a little ether, and do a compression test. If you have compression, fuel, & spark at the right time, it WILL at least sputter. Find which one you DON'T have.
