Sway bar question
So, I developed a thumping noise and decided to unhook the sway bar from the sway bar links and zip tie it up.
Observations: This this is so quiet up front now! No thuds, squeeks.. nothing! Also, I don't notice a difference in steering for the most part. I did run into a rough section of a country road and it tossed the truck around a little more than usual.
I have purchased new poly bushings (Energy Suspension), but how much does the sway bar really do on these heavy trucks? Tomorrow, I'll be driving on different terrian (Interstate, country roads, job sites) so it'll be interesting.
I also bought track bar bushings too.
