75 steering setups?

I just wanted to get some ideas on possible steering setups on my 75 f250. I took off the original ram assist steering and im running a disk brake dana 44 now with 38" tires and an 8 inch lift. I have a later model column out of a late 70's ford truck for the column shift. I want something that will steer eaisly with the weight of my IDI in the front and that tall of a lift. I was wondering what type of steering boxes you all are running and what is out there that i can get a large drop pitman arm for or if i should do a cross over steering set up? Any help would be greatly appriecated!

With a lift that large, there is no alternative. Crossover is the only answer.

The 78-79 power steering box seems to be the box of choice, several have used 150 boxes, and I use a saginaw. The box is the easiest part of the whole thing really. The most work will be drilling and tepping the pass side knuckle if you have a D44. You will have to bolt up a steering arm to the knuckle and the knuckle has no holes, so it will need to come apart and machined to accept some studs.
If you have a kingpin D60, the whole thing is a bolt on deal.
