Bulb Out In Console Shift Indicator

Has anyone had to replace the light bulb in the console mounted shift indicator? Mine went out this weekend and I have not idea how to get to the bulb. Does the chrome bezel "pop" off? Thanks....

It will tell you in the manual where it talks about the switch that you press if the shifter is stuck in park, an overide switch. But if you do not have a manual open your storage bin door ( where your arm rests) and you will see a slot on the grey area where you can use a srewdriver to pop it up. If you do not want to do any damage you can grab it on both sides from the very back(where the slot is) and pop it up with your hands. then the bulb unscrews out of the housing. Just be carefull with the srewdriver, it easily scratches the plastic.

Yeah, or just do without the bulb. Sounds easier.
