Tires that fit.

I have an 05 F-150 XLT 5.4l sCab trailer tow package (3.83 ratio). I want to dump the stock steel rims so I bought some Ford alloy 18's. The stock tire on the 18's is 265/60-18. I am getting ready to buy new tires. I'm thinking larger OD equals more fuel economy. I want to use 265/70-18'. Does anyone out there know if they will fit withour rubbing and without any other modifications?

You should be fine. I am running 305/65/18 and rub very minor. Also, a larger tire will not give you better gas mileage..

I have an 05 XLT 4X4 that came with 17" chrome steel wheels and bought stock 18" alloys off of Craigs list. I put 285/75 BFG Rugged Trail's with no problems. The alloy 18" look a lot better in my opinion.
