Leave the connector in, just remove the bulb itself, and the harness on the new light plugs into where the bulbs should go. Does anyone know what size the reverse bulbs are? They are the only ones on my truck that aren't LED and i'd like to.
Thanks guys. My GF is out in the cold weather changing them out because I'm at work. I wonder if she would rotate the tires guess that would be asking too much.
Ah, thanx T. I was hoping the reverse lights were brighter...it might have prevented my backing into a light pole at Judson football stadium...a 75' or 100' sign pole at Clear Springs restaurant...and the little black FORD Fusion that ignored the big red truck with bright red and reverse lights that was inching her way, while she continued to drive forward while yakking on her cell phone.
crosbo, I was worried about doing the same thing so I hooked up a backup camera front and rear into my Pioneer AVIC1. Now I can see coming and going...
Hey crosbo: I done this and they work better than any I have ever used or seen, even with my tinted windows. You can get a simple relay at Radio Shack for about $7, (well worth the money!) Here's the link:
