Built Ford Tough!!!!!

Coming home from church today on I-135 i was going through a construction zone and had to stop, well the moron behind me didn't even hit the brake. I got rear ended, he was goin 55 mph. His car was totalled. His hood was shoved up to the windshield almost, and my truck...lol...well it had a cracked dually fender, cracked tail light and the bumper was bent, and best of all the tailgate still opened!!!! Now i remember why i drive a FORD TRUCK!!!!! Built ford tough, one hell of a truck. I just thought i'd share some of my excitment for my ford pickup, it handled it like a champ, even though it's a little banged up. Oh and that man that hit me, says he didn't speak english, no drivers liscense, no insurance and the tag was from a differant vehicle. He also took a leak on the side of the road, got cited for indecient exposure and went to jail.....i know this is off topic but i thought i'd share it. Fords are built tough and i love em.

Suprised he was healthy enough to take a leak anywhere but all over his self in the car! Glad you were able to drive away from it.

This kind of thing can make a wreck not too bad. Just remember next time these stories are always better with photos. The camera will also come in handy if there are any disputes on the accident later.

At the risk of sounding wrong, I take them to jail every chance I get. That is why our insurance costs so much not to mention other problems our government is ignoring. I don't want to get on a rant, but what I do is not enough. They are here illegaly. Talk to your congressmen and reps, it is out of control.

The only reason he did not drive off is most likely because he coudn't. They have got to be addressed. I say jail the people who employ them. That ought to put the brakes on the money that brings them here. Bet it slows it down at least.
Just think about all the babies born here in our country. They are American citizens. Think that over, and who pays for that??? No health care.

Hey, that sounds like the guy that hit my daughter's car a week or so ago...on I-35 in Austin. She said he had been following too closely for at least a couple of miles, then when they hit the traffic, he hit her. Fortunately no damage and no injury, but she called me from the side of the road wondering what to do because he only spoke spanish, showed her a cell phone so she could get the #...then took off. Traffic being what it was and with no "visible" damage, she did not call the police...and failed to get the tag #. Oh and the phone...was disconnected.

Oh well, at least I can always hope it was the same guy...and that he got his due.

Every liberal teenager (im 18! i see it first hand) wants to cry boohoo about how they have it so bad. if they spent HALF the time protesting in their country and trying to bring about reform then im sure it wouldnt be so bad. Instead they spend time clogging up our roads and protesting waving MEXICAN flags and telling us to sing the national anthem in MEXICAN. (all this while not paying a red cent to uncle sam) sorry for the rant! I live in a fairly upscale area where everyone is some environment loving hippie, they think my 7.3 is a TERRIBLE THING because its a diesel and loud. little do they know it 30-50% more officiant then a gasoline engine and even produces less greenhouse gases! i just wave and smile when i get flipped the bird now haha

Time for a new tailgate.

Since it is time for a new tailgate now, has anyone checked into, or even heard of a rumor about the new 08 tailgate fitting one of the older bodied SuperDuties? I kinda like the dropdown step and hand rail option....it would help out us short people climbing into the bed...or I could just do like I do now, step on the bumper and climb over the tailgate...just wondering if anyone else has any info on the new tailgate...good, bad or ugly....Dave
