Well it may not even be there tomorrow. Bob seemed to be trying to get rid of it. As far as leaving it outside, things have a habit of disappearing. A co-worker gets rid of old childrens toys and tires by just leaving them outside overnight. They are normally gone by morning.
I don't think I could keep it for 10-15 days. My boss already had guys come in to give quotes on installing hoists and painting the inside. He even came in on his day off to do some planning.
Here is an idea. If it is to br left outside maybe send it my way.
Or idea #2. We can get it and put into the quonset for a bit til Morris can get it. Just have to arrange a time to get it.
So you got some long smooth truck box ramps to load this sucker? I don't think you could lay it on it's back without damaging it. I guess if you could devise a good strap system you could maybe use the chain hoist to lift it.
Hopefully it will still be around, I may get time towards the end of the week.
It may have been possible to get it yesterday/last nite with the Bobcat and trailer had I known.
Oh well if it`s here when I get time it will all work out, if not then that`s the way it goes......
Whats the big deal with loading 300lbs? ain't that much weight not sure if i would want to load it into a high Superduty but a low enough truck is fridgen child play.
Oh ya the 69 I got working again made it to the city shifting better then before.
And the 53 not sure if mine or dads yet but the cab and fenders are pretty much ready for a sanding and priming. All 6 tires look good deluxe cab chrome in all places all options on it including factory radio, which works!! and looks cool as heck, it sure is a damn nice truck dad picked up for a hundered bucks.
Glad to hear the 69 is back on the road.
That`s a sweet deal on the 53, you guys must be living right or at least travelling in the right circles. If you need a good 6 volt battery I think I have a fairly new spare one kicking around here.
I take it your walking ok....
The 53 came from a Krammer sale that was by the Saskatoon Auction Mart. There was a 1957 Ford tandem that sold for 1500. Dad got the 53 for 125, he has a motor waitin for it already.
This I think will be the 69's last week for the year time to get out the winter truck
