Hello everyone , I havent posted in a while , but what I was wondering is where to get the best bang for the buck on bilstein shocks for a 2000 F-250 stock height truck? Also the other question I had is does Bilstein make a steering stabilizer?
Bilstein would be the best bang for the buck...there like oem shocks. You probably can find these under 100$ each. Bilstein doesn't make a steering stabilizer.
2000 F250 4x4 Front : BE52818
Rear : BE52819
For your Steering Stabilize go with Rancho (RS5410) and it's under 90$ Can't go wrong with Rancho.
I just had bilstein shocks put on today at a place called 4 Wheel Parts for $100 each installed. What a difference it made to the ride! I wish I had these on from the first day I bought the truck.

You probably saw my SD in the 4 Wheel Parts shop, it's getting a leveling kit and new Rancho 9000XL shocks put on it.
Short response. Use www.shockwarehouse.com a sponsor here. They told me Billstein DOES NOT make the steering stabilizer. They provided me with a MONROE and I have new Billsteins on front and back.
I will not embellish, but my truck rides great. 10 mph to 85 mph loaded, pulling, whatever. If I ever buy a new super duty, I will automatically buy Billstein shocks. I have a F-350, 8', Fx4, dual wheels, 6.0. K.R., hole in roof, and I am happy with this truck. It took 30,000 miles, nothing major, but having a smooth ride is WONDERFUL.
Good luck to you, buy BILLSTEINS.

I dropped it off for a couple hours and only walked through the shop for quick minute. Have you used them before to have work done? They seem to do a real nice job.
Well.. the track bar for my leveling kit didn't fit, so they are working with Superlift to find out what the problem is. They are next day'ing another kit from the 4wheel Parts store in Denver to see if that one fits. So I'm fairly impressed so far with the customer service, that being said, I was expecting to get my truck back on Saturday with the leveling kit installed, if the track bar from Denver comes in tomorrow and doesn't fit.. not sure what the the deal will be.

I've heard enough about Bilsteins. I've been listening to this sales pitch ever since I got my Super Duty! Frankly, I am tired of it.
So, I finally just broke down and ordered them I started to order them from eshocks since I would not have had to pay sales tax, but Shockwarehouse is a sponsor here, and the discount code brought it close enough not to fret over.

It would be interesting to read your post after you install. Make sure you get the steering stabilizer. Hopefully you will reply to this post, as I will auto receive. Thanks,
I will post a report. It may be a few weeks before I get them on. I need to do the ball joints and may wait and do the shocks at the same time. I overlooked ordering the stabilizer, but went down to Advance Auto and picked up a Monroe this evening.
Hey thanks to everyone for there input, I ordered the Bilsteins from Shockwarehouse and they should be here tomorrow, or at least the fronts, rears are on backorder for 2 weeks or so, I hope to see them before the annual Deer Hunt here in Wisconsin. I think I am going to need them for the trip thru the woods. Well I will post as soon as I get them installed, but after reading everyones postings I know that I will be pleased.
