Toyota camary

I just got a 1986 Toyota Camary with the 2.0 overhead cam 4 banger in it. I'm here from friends that its a very good car and gets decent gas milage. Anybody ever come across many problems with these? Right now it has a blown head gasket that I'm fixing but it was free so I'm not complaining. What kind off gas milage would one off these get? I'm hearing 23-25 mpg.

if you keep up on maintenance you will run forever . my buddy has one that has over 290K on it .. only thing he had to replace was the struts and their bearings ontop other than normal items like a battery tires muffler an tailpipe

my parents had (have) an 85 that ran into the ground at 350000 miles with literally no maintenence other than oil and plugs at random intervals. finally had everything go at once and they didnt want to pay to have it fixed, and im not willing to put the time into an import (unless i decide to fix it to sell it)
they got 35-40 mpg easy and that was running with no compression in the #4 cylinder and 1/4 compression in the #3.

We have a customer where I work who has a 94 Camry with almost 650,000 miles on it, the motor was rebuilt at 150,000 and it's still going strong.
