F250 front end problem?
Hey I know this is near impossible to determine without hearing, but I am getting a loud pop from the front end of my superduty upon accellerating from a dead stop. It sounds just like a bad u joint would( loud snap/pop) but all my u joints are tight with no play at all. It doesn't pop all the time and the truck has only 20,000 miles and its an 2005 four weel drive. It has done it since new and the dealer cant find it, go figure.
I am wondering if maybe the drive shaft needs to be disasembled and greased in the slip yoke, since there are no greese fittings? Any ideas?
