Hey guys, Ive got an 03 F250 4x4, regular cab Long box, and am in need of a set of tires and rims. Ive got 2 questions, I actually use my ford for work purposes, like towing, snow plowing, inbed hauling but I hate those grey rims I have (which is why i want new ones).
So is there any company out there you guys recommend for a high quality wheel, which not only includes strength, but durability, finish protection and whatnot ?
My second question is, I want 35" tires, my truck has a leveling kit on it, so these will work right. Is there an offset/backspacing I should be looking at to fit these guys in there ?
Thanks guys.
P.S would you guys recomend a finish type for durability ? anyone use those teflon coated wheels ?
I have mickey tompson classic II's im trying to sell 18x10 paid about 150$ each for them and im trying to sell them for 550 OBO, they have 37's on them now but are VERY close to being bald!!! so they measure 34.5 inches right now, if your interested let me know tires will work but will need new ones VERY SHORTLY! price is negotiable...thanks
I have polished Centerlines on mine and for ease of care I would go with a brand name chrome plated aluminum wheel. I have had problems with the chrome flaking off of cheap wheels.
the teflon coated wheels are probably the least durable wheel on the market right now as far as finish goes. i have a set of eagle alloys that have been through hell and still shine up pretty nice. they have been rubbed on plenty of fallen trees across mountain trails.
