'06 Dashboard issue

I noticed this past week that my dash has developed a warp directly in front of the instrument panel against the glass. Has anyone had this issue and would it be covered under warranty (bumper to bumper)? Currently have 28k on the truck and have scratches in my side glass so I thought I would bring the dash issue up when I have the side glass replaced at the dealership...

I have not heard of this problem before but since you are still in the standard warranty period I would think it should be covered. I would suggest that you make a big fuss about it with the dealer so they won't just blow it off.

On a hot day, my dash leeches a resin type sticky substance. Can not figure it out either. Traps dirt and lint like a **** and only comes off with acetone. Debating on making a warranty claim myself.

Hootbro........If the search feature is working you might give it a try under "sticky dash". There was a big discussion on this a while back with all sorts of good input.

Thanks, I found it. Speculation is that it is a mold release agent left on the dash. It does seems to be less severe after the first cleaning. I guess I need to just clean it a couple of more times before it goes away.
