Aux. Lighting
What would be the process to put some auxiliry lighting on my truck. say a bull bar with 2 hella driving lamps. is the wiring dificult? where do you tap into? Expenses? Thanks!!

Not knowing what you're driving.. this is the best I can say. If the lights pull less than 30 Amps, use the leads just above the enginge compartment fuse box to get into the cab, then hook into one of the AUX switches. If you don't have the switches, buy one from an autoparts store, and ask someone to tell you where in the fuses to find power for them.

I have the Westin Bull Bar on my truck with 6 inch KC's....mine came with a switch on the light kit. It works just fine, but I also bought a relay to run in-line with it. Wired it directly to battery, then to the relay, then thru firewall into cab. I think the relay was $8 ? Could be off on that by a few $$ But I was told the switch wouldn't be able to handle the current of two KC lites! I wired mine directly to battery only because I wanted it to be on at anytime. Not a good thing if you could forget it and leave them on! haha
