check engine light
Well my check engine light is on in my 99 ranger. The problem as far as i can tell is that when i try to start it, it turns over but takes a while before it fires up and when it does finally fire up it kinda sputters for a little bit until i give it a little gas. WTF is up? HELP cause i've already put a new transmission and new rotors and brakes in in the past month.

Have you tried to pull any codes? Most auto parts stores will scan it for you. Then you will have a better idea on where to start. The price of the little hand held ones are getting better now also. Makes it kind of nice to have a way of pulling the code yourself and then come here and get some answers.
