Superduty problems
I am currently running an 01 F 350 Crew cab 4x4 that I bought new with a V 10 and auto trans. I am wondering if anybody can tell me any horror stories after you passed the 100,000 mile mark. I have had little trouble with this thing.....1 set of tires, 1 u-joint and recently ball joints on 110,000 miles. I was thinking of trading, but dont exactly like the 40 K price tag for a new one. What can I expect if I run this one another 50K? Any heads up would be greatly appreciated.

Well...if you have done the spark plugs and kept up with all the fluid changes, then you should be good for a very long time.
Fluids:
Coolant
Tranny
Transfer Case
front and rear axles
power steering fluid
brake fluid
...etc.

Tires, U-joints and ball joints are very normal wear items at 100K. Read up on the problems that are normal for these trucks and how to avoid them, you'll make 300k easily.
Pay close attention to the front 4x4 hubs and their care and feeding.

I don't see why you would have any problems. Your already over 100K, so there really no reason to trade. I know some dealers around here will give more money if your truck has under a 100K on it, but if you already over, I don't see why it won't make at least 200K and possibly 300K.
