2002 cruise control

When I press the set button the cruise light flashes one time and nothing happens. Has anyone had this problem? and found the solution?

Had the same situation. The switch on the front of the master cylinder was failed. It fail open. I put a switch on and mine worked fine. Hopes this helps!

Cruise control

Thanks guys, that was exactly it, I replaced the cruise control switch on the master and wala! all set.
