Header for I6 300ci

So i want to get a little more power from my '84' F250 2wd 6cyl. and thought maybe a header would be an inexpensive way to gain some ponys'. Can anyone tell me about clearance issues with a 2wd or mounting problems? This is a 1bbl carburated motor. And what about the strange way that the exhaust manifold shares the same mounting stud with the intake manifold, is this a mounting issue? What brands have you guys used?

A good cheap upgrade for your 300 is to
swap out for late model efi headers
also there are adapters to go up to a
4 barrel carb
a 350 cfm to a 500 cfm works very good
check with the guys in the 6 cyl. engine forum
also another site to check out is
www.fordsix.com

The header should come with adapters to make it fit. If you notice also, how the exhaust manifold and the intake come together under the carb. This is to warm the carb up and keep it from icing up and being cold natured in colder weather. If you go to the clifford site, you will see kits where they try to run coolant through a block under the carb to try and avoid this problem.
