No Brake Lights????
I have a 2004 F450 dump truck that i tow a equipment trailer with. Tonight doing a truck and equipment mainance and truck check as i do every sunday i came to find out that i have no brake lights. I have both left and right directional, running lights and no bad fuses, (checked everyone with a test light), i tested the green wire leaving the brake light switch and it has power 12v+ when the brake is depressed. When i turn on the 4-way flashers only the right side lights blink and the flasher makes a unusuall screaching sound. Would a bad 4-way flasher cause me to loose my brake lights? Dose the center part of the dash have to be removed to access the flasher? and dose anyony know if and where would be the relay for the brake lights.

yes, the dealer fixed it, i dont remember the exact name but their was a "body control modual" or something like that, which controls all the turn, brake lights and also works the trailor lights.
