Well, I guess I'm saying maybe this is too much of a big bite for the first attempt. Maybe we should try to do smaller regional events before we try to get multiple regions together.

All I'm saying is to have it central to everyone..I will go to PA and personaly I have no problem in doing that..I think we should plan this meet by the way of emails

Quick chime in guys. We did a little regional a few months back with Pa.-N.J.-De. it was basically a meet and greet in a parking lot. Turned out okay for the first one. I like the idea of a larger get together centered around a larger event. What Fred said about piggy backing makes a lot of sense. Other sites use Bloomsburg for their central Get together and then hook up at a local campground.

Right at the moment I am in the processing of moving so I will not be very active for the next few weeks. Once I'm settled in the new house I may have an informal gtg, if any of the Cl's would be willing to come we can brainstorm. I will look around the Carlisle area for camping space and Hotels/Motels. I'll post in the chapter if we decide to do it in Pa.

George, I like your thinking. Taking an award for the largest participation would be a shot in the arm for our chapters.

That would be cool if we dominated a whole campground... Have our meet at one of those..Lot of thing would be coverd and would not have to worry about like potter pottys and stuff like that

The relationship that we have built over the years with all the great car clubs that support our events is very important to us.

Hold Your Next Car Club Meet at Carlisle
Make Carlisle Events the site of your club's next regional or national event. Contact us today for a free club meet planning pack complete with a visitors guide, restaurant and lodging information as well as event-specific materials. Contact Toni Herscher at (717) 243-7855 x121 or toni@carlisleevents.com. Download the Great Clubs Meet at Carlisle brochure (PDF-643k)

Car Club Tent Reservations
Carlisle Events offers a FREE 20' x 20' tent to each car club that registers a minimum of 25 vehicles at an event for use as your club headquarters.

New clubs that want to participate or clubs that didn't meet the 25 vehicle requirement last year will need to make a $160 pre-payment. If the club meets the 25 vehicle requirement this year, (based on Carlisle Events' computer registration records), the prepaid tent fee of $160 will be reimbursed after the event to the club official who initiated the arrangements.

The $160 pre-payment fee is waived for clubs that met the 25 vehicle requirement last year.

Each member must register individually for the show field. Be sure that they list their club name when registering. A club organizer can collect the registration forms and mail them together, or they can be mailed by each individual member. Payment must accompany each registration in order for that individual to be considered pre-registered.

If you have any questions please contact Toni Herscher at (717) 243-7855 x121 or toni@carlisleevents.com.

Click here to download the Club Tent Registration Form (PDF-33k).

Registration deadlines are:
Carlisle Performance & Style - April 11
Carlisle Import-Kit/Replicar Nationals - April 18
Carlisle All-Ford Nationals - May 9
Carlisle All-GM Nationals - May 23
Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals - June 13
Carlisle All-Truck Nationals - July 11

I suggest that each CL emai toni@carlisleevents.com and request their Club Meet Planning Pack.

We then can make a final decision on whether Carlisle is the place to meet.
