Driver front blinker not working, everything else does
Hello, Have 1981 Ford F250 4x4. The front driver side blinker does not work. All other blinkers do. It does work when running the Emergency Flasher. The fuse is good, the passenger side blinker works. The emergency lights all work, the bulbs are all new, I did notice some where on the wires right up close on the bulb holder but I have pulled those apart so as to not allow any possible shorting but not sure if this is a problem or not. Please help. Thanks.
sounds like you may have a wire with bad conection or broke, check at the light, the fire wall and colum. Wiggle turn signal switch as well,I know this sounds crazy but my truck has done this once also. I had one round when none would come on, wiggled the key switch{truck was running} and they started working. Always check the ground, the ground is 98% of problems with eletrical. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the info. The light stays totally dark except when the emergency lights are working , the dash light and the front blinker works. And sometimes when I turn the drivers turn switch off, the drivers dash light comes on very briefly. I will follow the ground. Thanks to you all.
