i would also do the harpoon wile you have the tank down..thats in the same link...

order that one. It comes with everything you need and great instructions. Remember to do the harpoon mod while you have your tank out.

the harpoon on the same website...and the hutch wasn't as expensive as i thought it would be...

im thinking of doing tires next, then getting a 5" exhaust (im running a walker btm cuz it was $60), then i was planning on doing some other mods...this should all be done by spring next year...im not too sure im ready to start disassembling the gas tank and stuff...i know a guy around here that i might ask...he has a pretty sick rig. thank you very much for your help...

you don't need anything special to do the harpoon mod. just a saw, or pipe cutter. See here and remember to thank Guz:

What is the purpose of the Harpoon Mod. besides allowing more fuel in the tank? Or is more fuel the main purpose?

Not more fuel. It just allows you to top off the tank a lot faster. Cuts down on the foam build up.

The harpoon wil knock off a full 5-8 minutes for the "topping off" action... unless you're using bioDiesel.... with the B20 fillups I've been making lately, there is absolutely NO foam at all!
