Power mirrors installed
I just finished installing my power mirrors that I got off e-bay for $160.The total after getting all parts needed was Around $250.Wasnt to hard either.I got the plastic door trim that holds the swithces at the dealer with a mirror switch for $50.I got the wire harness plug that fits my new mirror switch from a taurus in the junk yard.Note;I have found three different configuration switches So take the new switch with you to make sure the harness fits into the socket.Cut it out with about a foot for splicing later.I then ran three wires from each mirror through the door,under dash and back to the swith.Here is ware It got a little tricky.To figure out what is what on the swith.My wife happens to have a taurus.with the same switch .So I coppied the funtions of her switch onto a piece of paper and that was my pin lacations.All and all It wasnt bad and they are much better looking than the paddle mirrors that were on there.If anybody is considering doing this And would like the pin locations I may be able to help.

If you search the super duty forum, i posted all the info when I did the power mirror upgrade in my truck. It had manual tow mirrors when I bought it. I made my own pigtail, because i had a hard time finding one. I was going to use a switch out of a Taurus but the config was totally different so I just got the switch from the stealer.
